Laid-back, Loving, Social

Yackety Yak won't talk back. But, he will definitely love you! This mellow fellow is so friendly and cuddly. He spent the majority of his life happily living in a household with two senior humans and a menagerie of animals...dogs of all sizes, cats and birds! He got along beautifully with them all and also was very sweet with children who visited.

Yackety was surrendered to the shelter when his people were moving out of the country and could not take him along. He is such an affectionate kitty who likes laying close to you and having his soft, buff-colored coat brushed.

If you want a cat you can pick up and gently hold after a stressful day, Yackety is all for that! He also enjoys sleeping with you at night and his warm snuggles are the absolute best!

Yackety is considered a 'senior', but he still loves to play. He's such a good boy who will cooperate with you for nail trims and uses his scratching post like a champ.

If you're making the bed, Yackety thinks that's the perfect time to plop down in the middle of it! He has the cutest way of carefully investigating the droplets in the bathtub and then licking them up. He also likes drinking water out of the bathroom sink - always adding a touch of excitement to brushing your teeth!

Ready to fill up your heart and bring home a cat? How about Yackety Yak? Don't hold back! Contact us for an introduction!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
