Please give a super friendly Austin welcome to Gas Station Hotdog, a special girl ready to settle down in her forever home!

Gas Station Hotdog is an overall sweet young feline. She can get cautious sometimes, though. Quick movements and unanticipated touches make her nervous. But, otherwise, she is highly affectionate. She generally wants to be where you are - sitting near you on the couch or sleeping in bed with you. Gas Station Hotdog truly delights in receiving pets. She absolutely adores chin rubs and behind-the-ear scratches. Her contentment with these activities translates into body-rumbling purrs.

The other thing that gets this kitty chatting is meal time. Highly food motivated, Gas Station Hotdog will make cute trilling noises to get your attention and then politely meow to request treats. As you get her food ready, she'll excitedly dance around your feet eager for something tasty. Once she's received her fill, she will resume her favorite activity - hanging out near you. While her experiences with other critters are unknown, Gas Station Hotdog's ideal home would be a calm household where she gets plenty of attention.

Gas Station Hotdog has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Gas Station Hotdog can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.
