Loving, Friendly, Adorable
Queso is such a sweet and friendly boy that you will likely become immediately smitten with him! He loves to hang with you, cuddle with you, and get lots and lots of pets. He is so affectionate that he cheerfully follows you around, waiting for snuggle time!
His eyes look different because he was born with eyelid agenesis, which caused his eyelids to form improperly. As a result, his eyeballs are easily irritated by dust, hair, and anything else that eyelids are supposed to provide protection from! He has had surgery to create an eyelid for one of the eyes and is scheduled for the other eye soon. This should help him blink and make him more comfortable. He can see and get around fine, and appreciates a treatment of artificial tears to help his eyes feel better!
Queso is a big boy, and is a sweet, friendly, loving giant! He would rather chill out and cuddle than play, but he does get frisky with a ribbon toy and other wand toys. He loves his sister, Ruffles, and was interested and patient with the resident adult cat in his previous foster home. He also napped next to the resident dog!
He is so respectful and friendly with them that we think he would do amazing in a home with gentle humans and other nice pets to love! He has a way of spreading sunshine wherever he goes. He is quiet, but will call out when he thinks it’s time to snuggle with his human!
Queso and Ruffles (193055), were abandoned by the side of the road, and someone luckily witnessed the abandonment as it occurred, so immediately scooped them up! Ruffles also has eyelid agenesis, and is also scheduled for surgery. To say these two have been through more than any kitty should ever experience is an understatement. Our goal is to find a forever loving home for each of them and give them the happy life they deserve!
