Adorable, sweet, loyal

Zephyr is a sweet, tabby girl whose fur makes for a neat swirl pattern when viewed from the side. She may be shy when you meet her, but she warms up and shows her sweet, loyal nature. Nothing is more satisfying than when she curls up on your lap because you know you've earned her affection! Almost without fail, when you walk by her, she flops on her side, revealing her belly to the world for all to pet!

Zephyr takes a bit to warm up to strangers, but she still does prefer to be close by, usually sitting on your chair's armrest so she's never out of reach from consistent petting. She loves chasing her brother Zero, and all manner of cat toys. When it's time to sleep she usually curls up beside him. She loves hiding in new and more inventive places each day. She tends to avoid dogs outright, never hissing or being aggressive, just disappearing. However, she has adjusted to young children and will be in the same room as them, although keeping distance.

Zephyr and her brother Zero (APA# 30798) have lived in the same home since kittens, and due to allergies in their human family, are looking for new homes. Zephyr's ideal home is anywhere she could feel safe. A home with significant numbers of other animals might not be best given how shy she's been. She's done well with her brother - and would not mind being adopted with him! - and would likely warm up to another animal with careful introductions. She just needs an owner who is kind and patient, and willing to give her space and time as needed.
