Independent, chill, companionable

Ellroy is a very handsome blue-grey cat with subtle striping on his tail and a luxurious coat with some gorgeous silvery shimmers and two little tiny notches in his left ear. And those eyes!! He's a calm guy who likes to take it easy most of the time. He loves to nap - you'll often find him with his arms tucked in covering his face in the cutest way. He's also a big sleep twitcher, which is amusing to witness.

Ellroy really enjoys hanging out with his people, but he's not a needy cat. Ellroy prefers to sleep near you, or leaning against you or with a single paw on you. He's most affectionate in the morning, when he rubs up against your legs and gazes lovingly at you. Though he isn't the snuggliest cat in the world, he does like to give kisses - a lot!

If he wants food or attention, he'll strike up a conversation, meowing and chattering away while he follows you; otherwise, he's generally pretty quiet. Likewise, Ellroy is relaxed most of the time, but he does love to chase the laser pointer - he practically transforms into another cat, chirping and chattering like mad!

Ellroy likes having a daily routine and would do best in a home where his humans do the same. He would prefer to be the only cat and isn't a fan of dogs. The ideal home for Ellroy would be calm and quiet, with lots of nice napping spots, a laser pointer with a charged battery, and loving humans who are looking for a chill roommate!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
