Loving, Cautious, Low-Key

Dara is such a demure, humble kitty that it's easy to miss all the love that she is waiting to share. She's quiet and loves to cozy away in big beds. But underneath that cool and collected demeanor is a big, soft, loving heart!

Dara is cautious initially and needs a little time to get used to new people. But, once she becomes comfortable she is super affectionate! She loves getting petted and gently cuddling beside you, sometimes dozing off because she feels so at peace and content. She isn't really into playing all that much. But, she will show you her moves if you bring out wand toys and she certainly makes the most out of her scratching post!

Dara is in a bedroom in her foster home to keep her separate from the other foster cat there. She would do best with slow intros to other kitties, or as an only child. She meows when her foster mom isn't in the room and eagerly approaches her for pets as soon as she comes into the room.

Dara loves head scratches and snuggling up, but she prefers you don't touch her tail. While that area seems to be off limits, there are plenty of other places to pet her velvety soft coat!

Dara is a former housecat and knows what it's like to live happily in a home with caring people. She is longing for the day when she can do that again! If you approach her gently and offer out your hand, those memories will come flooding back to her. Then, just let her go at her own pace and in a short time this sweet girl will be ready to give you all the love.

Dara can hardly wait to find her next person and to share her affection with them for life! Could it be you? Let's find out! Contact us for an introduction!

All APA! Cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
