Loving, Friendly, Energetic

Eggnog is the sweetest ball of sunshine you'll meet! She is such a loyal companion--always ready to play, cuddle and be with you! She absolutely adores people, whether they're strangers or cherished friends. She'll come running over to most any human and gently nudge them with her head to get some affection. At night, she'll cozy up by your head and sleep curled up next to you. She may decide to take a stroll all over you to make sure she finds just the right spot...so cute!

Eggnog is full of energy and likes to demonstrate her athletic prowess. If you see a black streak dashing by, she's showing you her zoomy skills! She'll also expertly climb up a high dresser or shelf with agility and grace. She's a fun-loving kitty who can make a toy out of anything; give her a hair tie, rubber band or binder clip and playtime is on! If you want to see her go absolutely WILD, toss her a toy that makes a crinkly sound and watch her inner panther come out full force. She's always up for a game of fetch with her small toys. That's right, she has a doggy side too!

Eggnog likes to keep that soft coat of hers extra shiny. She's a tidy girl who will give her paws a thorough cleaning after using the litter box, making clean up extra easy for the humans in her life.

Eggnog was stressed at the shelter when she was around other cats and seems to prefer having her own territory. So, she'd likely be happiest as your one and only kitty. While we haven't seen her around children, she's such a fun, affectionate cat she'd likely hit it off with kiddos.

Eggnog's ideal home would include an abundance of places to safely climb, fun toys to stalk and a warm bed for her to snuggle up in at night with her people. Her foster describes her as such a sweet little girl and an absolute delight. Ready to introduce yourself to this affectionate, black beauty? Contact us to set up a meet and greet with precious Eggnog today!

Eggnog has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). FeLV cats have a virus that causes a weaker immune system - they do not have cancer! For the most part, felvies are just like any other cat. You could not pick one out of the crowd, and they generally do not require much additional care. As a bonus, we waive their adoption fees! APA! provides full coverage and treatment for any FeLV-related issues that arise after the time of adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan - we like to compare it to the lifespan of adopting a senior kitty, with the added benefit that they don't have chronic senior health problems, and that FeLV-related medical care is covered. Eggnog is not contagious to people, dogs or other animals, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our Partner, Best Friends Animal Society: http://bit.ly/2FwYCxR

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
