Affectionate, Playful, Bold

Bean (aka Beanie Baby) is beautifully patterned Calico with an affectionate, playful, and bold personality - with bold coloring under her chin to match! She's quick to welcome you home and appreciates spending quality time with you - especially when there's brushing involved.

Bean equally enjoys her lounge time, relaxing on a high ledge and peeking out the window. She is a water lover, too - she is known to hop in the shower while it's running! When she gets too wet, she is quick to get out, only to hop right back in!

Bean is a young cat, so she's still pretty playful. She loves toy mice, though a random hair tie on the floor is probably her favorite prey! And she is super clever and extra adorable when she plays fetch with you. She's an only cat right now in her foster home, but she's been around other cats before and does just fine. This cuddly girl would be the perfect addition to a family looking for a well-behaved, smart young kitty to grow with.

Bean has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). FeLV cats have a virus that causes a weaker immune system - they do not have cancer! For the most part, felvies are just like any other cat. You could not pick one out of the crowd, and they generally do not require much additional care. As a bonus, we waive their adoption fees! APA! provides full coverage and treatment for any FeLV-related issues that arise after the time of adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan - we like to compare it to the lifespan of adopting a senior kitty, with the added benefit that they don't have chronic senior health problems, and that FeLV-related medical care is covered. Bean is not contagious to people, dogs or other animals, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our Partner, Best Friends Animal Society: http://bit.ly/2FwYCxR

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
