Independent. Foodie. Charming.

"Sir, we all have cats that we'd like to be playing with right now." - Charlie Day from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Charlie is an independent guy who just likes to have people around. He'll probably never be a cuddler at heart but he makes a great buddy to have around.

Charlie really excels at naptime. You'll quickly find out that it's one of his favorite past times. Another of his favorite past times, EATING! Charlie is a bit of a foodie. He's not food aggressive, but is food motivated! When it's time to eat, Charlie will get very excited and will talk your ear off. A pro-tip from his foster family - add some water to his food to keep him from inhaling it otherwise you might find yourself occasionally cleaning up some kitty puke.

When Charlie isn't napping or anticipating his next meal he loves to watch birds. You can even queue up bird videos and he'll be entertained. But, nothing beats the real thing. Charlie would love to have a window to watch the birds out of during the day.

It's not known how Charlie does with dogs. He still shows some under-socialized tendencies and is startled by loud sudden noises, so a house without small children would be best. While Charlie doesn't seem to really care about other cats, he does alright with them. He's shown some interest in some calm older kitties, so he'd probably do fine in a house with older non-aggressive cats.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
