Loving, Fun, Purr Monster

When Pidgey first came to his foster home, he was shy; but after getting used to everything, he transformed into a chatty, people-loving kitty! Once he gets to know you, he's all-in. He will greet you at the door when you come home, follow you around, purr, make chirp-like sounds, and may even tap on your ankles with his soft paws to say, HIIII!!! Could you pick me up, please?

Pidgey is also energetic and playful! He has a whole herd of catnip mice that he plays with, pounces on, and rounds up - and will toss one up in the air and catch it, then chase it all over the house! He will also fetch it when you throw it. So entertaining!

Get ready for work in the morning, and Pidgey will keep you company! He will hang out in the bathroom with you, or may even lean affectionately against your feet, just telling you to have a good day, and he'll miss you while you're away. And he's always up for an evening of Netflix, cuddling with you and watching the screen, too! He's a great movie buddy.

Pidgey has big owl-like eyes that miss nothing, giving him a permanent, rather surprised look on his face! And he will use that look to watch you with fascination as you eat, sitting prettily next to you at mealtime, but not begging. He is hilarious! And adorable.

Pidgey will revel in all the head pets and scratches that you can give him, and he will flop over and stretch all the waaaaaay out so you can rub his big white belly, too! He is good at scratching on his post, and if you wiggle your fingers, he will play with them. He is great with the litter box, though has shown his preference for boxes without scary lids on them; no lid, no problem!

Pidgey probably won't be outgoing when you first meet him, and might need some go-to spots to hide until he feels safe, but give him time and he will amaze you with his friendly, loving, and social personality! He makes a GREAT companion cat for adults and older kids who are patient, cat-loving, and will give him the time to acclimate to everything.

Don't delay! Contact us today to meet Pidgey!

Pidgey has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). FeLV cats have a virus that causes a weaker immune system - they do not have cancer! For the most part, felvies are just like any other cat. You could not pick one out of the crowd, and they generally do not require much additional care. As a bonus, we waive their adoption fees! APA! provides full coverage and treatment for any FeLV-related issues that arise after the time of adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan - we like to compare it to the lifespan of adopting a senior kitty, with the added benefit that they don't have chronic senior health problems, and that FeLV related medical care is covered. Pidgey is not contagious to people, dogs or other animals, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our Partner, Best Friends Animal Society: http://bit.ly/2FwYCxR

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
