Loving, Friend, Character
If you are looking for a best friend, look no further! Gorgeous Kilauea with her big round eyes, white socks, and huge heart is a true companion and silly girl who loves her humans.
When you get home she will greet you at the door, and then run to her cardboard scratcher to channel her overflowing excitement. If she realizes she isn't in the room with you, soon you will hear her meowing from elsewhere in the house, wondering where her love is! Don't worry, if you call out to her, she'll come over and as soon as she can see you she quiets down. She also loves to run over to you and immediately flop over to ask for belly rubs, which you will be happy to provide since she is so soft! If you go into another room, she will follow you to make sure you won't get lonely - especially the bathroom where she will politely ask for a drink from the faucet.
Kilauea is an A++ cuddler who will join you on the couch to watch your favorite shows, and often curl up in your arms at night. She loves to play with wand toys and in her kitty tunnel, and is a superb bug hunter who will protect you from all insect intruders that may be sneaking around. She is a very well-behaved and respectful family member, but doesn't usually like other kitties - so would prefer to be the only feline in the house.
Every day will be nothing but paradise with affectionate Kilauea! Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet.
Kilauea has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). FeLV cats have a virus that causes a weaker immune system - they do not have cancer! For the most part, felvies are just like any other cat. You could not pick one out of the crowd, and they generally do not require much additional care. As a bonus, we waive their adoption fees! APA! provides full coverage and treatment for any FeLV-related issues that arise after the time of adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan - we like to compare it to the lifespan of adopting a senior kitty, with the added benefit that they don't have chronic senior health problems, and that FeLV-related medical care is covered. Kilauea is not contagious to people, dogs or other animals, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our Partner, Best Friends Animal Society:http://bit.ly/2FwYCxR
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
