Cuddly, Adorable, Eager-to-please

The only thing monstrous about Monster is that he is a Cuddle Monster! He is actually called "Butters" in his foster home because he is a complete mush and will melt into you like butter. He's extremely affectionate and basically a dream cuddle-cat, like a good spa day or therapy session - but every day! He loves people, is outgoing even with people he just meets, and is always happy to see you. He has a cheerful, sunny, positive attitude about life. He's definitely into public displays of affection, and when you're snuggling with him, he will often "hold" your hand or arm!

Monster has a great time playing and has the perfect amount of playful energy! He has a wide repertoire of toys and games: he loves chasing and fetching little toys that you toss, catnip kickers, cardboard scratchboards, the track ball tower, and the Cat Dancer toy. He doesn't have to play all the time, and is 110% content simply being quiet and sharing affection with you!

He has lived with a senior dog who ignored him, and they became sweet buddies near the end of her life; he has also lived with a puppy who chased him, and that's a big ol' NOPE. We think Monster could live with a calm dog who respects his space.

Monster will make a point to hang out in the same room with you, and will take you up on any invitation to sit on your lap and purr while you work, watch movies on the couch, or sleep in bed!

Like most cats, Monster does not appreciate loud noises and sudden movements; he likes for you to let him know before you pick him up, which seems like the polite thing to do, anyway! He needs approved scratching devices, like sisal-covered surfaces and cardboard scratchers.

Monster is also monstrously gorgeous! He's a petite blue-gray tabby with adorable markings on his tummy, and canine teeth that stick out ever-so-slightly, like the cutest vampire ever.

This sweet, happy, friendly, curious, and silly boy would thrive best in a home with people to cuddle with, giving and receiving attention. In his previous home his humans worked from home, which suited him perfectly! He would love it if his new people were home more often than not, because he's a guy who lives his best life with his beloved humans.
