Grown-up, Considerate, Affectionate

Looking for a lap cat who won't jump up onto forbidden counters, climb furniture, or try to steal your human food? Then meet Swirly! He has arthritis in his back legs, so that prevents him from doing the usual naughty-cat things. But it doesn't prevent him from cuddling with you (on the floor, since jumping onto the sofa to snuggle with you can be hard)! He loves for you to pet him.

Swirly will follow you around the house, too! He prefers to hang out with you in his low-key, chill way. All you have to do is get used to him looking at you with loving eyes. He is a low-maintenance dude, and will go with the flow without drama.

Swirly will likely be shy when you first meet him, so just give him some time. In no time at all he will be walking around the house and begging you for love! The resident adult cat in his foster home kind of bosses him around, which he takes in stride; he would probably be okay living with another cat, but it would be nice if the cat had a similar easy-going personality. He has been afraid of all the dogs he has met, but not so much that he isn't curious, too; we think he could get used to a gentle canine friend, given time.

Swirly has the Classic Tabby swirl pattern on his coat - he is so handsome! He is a polite senior cat who loves his naps. His favorite toy and play activity is going after his bird on a stick. He also likes to get a good scratching session in, and will only scratch on his approved scratching device. He has a thing for catnip, too!

Swirly is perfect for someone looking for a kind, sensitive, and good-natured cat who leads with love! Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
