Reserved, Handsome, Shy

Nicodemus is a shy boy who is heeds caution wherever he goes! This little guy likes to play... but only if no one is looking. He must always be cool. Since Nico is on the reserved side, he isn't a fan of snuggles, but will take the occasional pat on the head before he slips away. His favorite activity is finding the smallest, most random place to take his naps. It's his own version of hide and seek. He might love a little cat-cave bed in his new home!

Sweet little Nico has the most beautiful black coat and the sweetest white dot on his chest. Get this guy a bow tie and you've got the most handsome date in town!

He's looking for his fur-ever companions to truly show his sweet personality off. Not just anyone can gain the trust of this independent man. Since he's still learning about trust, he would do best in a family (adults/older kids) who will show him just how great head scratches on a warm lap can be! Perhaps a home with another kitty companion to show him the ropes. This guy is ready to get his blossom on!

Nico has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). FeLV cats have a virus that causes a weaker immune system - they do not have cancer! For the most part, felvies are just like any other cat. You could not pick one out of the crowd, and they generally do not require much additional care. As a bonus, we waive their adoption fees! APA! provides full coverage and treatment for any FeLV-related issues that arise after the time of adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan - we like to compare it to the lifespan of adopting a senior kitty, with the added benefit that they don't have chronic senior health problems, and that FeLV-related medical care is covered. Nico is not contagious to people, dogs or other animals, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our Partner, Best Friends Animal Society: http://bit.ly/2FwYCxR

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
