Handsome, Affectionate, Attention-Loving

The first thing you might notice about Thomasin is how big and long he is - but that just means there's more of him to love! And he definitely loves being loved. Thomasin welcomes any and all attention from humans, so bring on the pets and head rubs!

When meeting new people, Thomasin prefers to be approached gently, but once he's comfortable with his new visitor, Thomasin will start rubbing up against your legs looking for pets and attention. Since he loves attention from people so much, Thomasin usually isn't too keen on sharing that attention with other cats. He has been known to hiss at other cats if he thinks they are trying to steal his human's attention. That being said, Thomasin certainly wouldn't mind being an only cat!

In his kitten days, Thomasin was super playful and would see everything as a toy, but nowadays he is much more interested in being petted and loved than he is in chasing toys. He may show off some of that playful side from time to time, but Thomasin is likely happiest just hanging out and being loved by you.

The perfect forever home for Thomasin is one with humans who will be patient with him and dote over him. He can be shy at first, but he opens up very quickly, and that's when he starts showing that super affectionate personality of his! Thomasin would have no problem being the only cat in the house, but if there are other cats around, multiple humans would be ideal so he doesn't have to feel competitive for attention. Come visit this big sweetie to see how awesome he is for yourself!

Thomasin has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Thomasin can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
