Shy, beautiful, cuddly!

Homunculus is a stunning Siamese kitty with beautiful, brown snowshoe markings on her white coat! She had an eye infection when she was little that caused one of her eyelids to stick, a bit causing that eye to be a little less opened than her other. She survived that with no other issues and we think her imperfection makes her even more beautiful! She is a calm, happy, and friendly kitty. She likes to play sometimes, but she also loves to be held and petted. She can sit in your lap for hours!

Homunculus grew up with three kitty siblings and has interacted with other kitties in her foster home. She is a little reserved around them, but would probably come out of her shell if given more time. She has been around dogs, but is a little bashful around them. She is good with adults and young adults, but has been afraid of kids - so she would do best in a home without young children.

Homunculus has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). FeLV cats have a virus that causes a weaker immune system - they do not have cancer! For the most part, felvies are just like any other cat. You could not pick one out of the crowd, and they generally do not require much additional care. As a bonus, we waive their adoption fees! APA! provides full coverage and treatment for any FeLV-related issues that arise after the time of adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan - we like to compare it to the lifespan of adopting a senior kitty, with the added benefit that they don't have chronic senior health problems, and that FeLV-related medical care is covered. Homunculus is not contagious to people, dogs or other animals, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our Partner, Best Friends Animal Society: http://bit.ly/2FwYCxR

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
