Sweet, Purry, Blooming

Now that Candy has raised her kittens, we are ready to watch this girl relax on her own. Candy is a night owl, she likes to play and explore at night. During the day she hangs out in her preferred safe spot, currently that's in her favorite window where she can watch the birds.

Candy is a gentle and engaging girl who purrs up a storm! She loves for you to pet her and brush her. She will rub against you affectionately, but for now it needs to be her idea. She is a cautious girl, and we suspect her guard will come down once she is comfortable in her new home with her humans. In the meantime, by all means pet her, brush her, and let her purr her soothing purr for you!

Candy has her own playful spirit, and prefers feather wand toys! She's not crazy playful, but can get excited and animated when inspired by her favorite toy. She does love treats, it's the way to her heart.

Candy has quiet meows that she uses to talk to you or to ask politely, "is it time for dinner yet?" With her greenish-gold eyes and tabby stripes that give her a "necklace" and "eyeliner," she's rather fancy. And so pretty!

Candy's ideal home is with patient people who will give her the time and space to get comfortable on her own timeframe. We know she is a sweetheart, and she hasn't yet shown the depths of her sweetheart-ness - so her new humans get to discover that with her!
