Life hasn't always been kind to Penelope. First there's the name that HE was given. He's lost count of how many times he's had to say "I am a BOY!" Then there's the issue with his hair loss. Hard not feel a little less than handsome when your fur is kind of missing in spots. But, we've assured Penelope that the fullness of his coat and the sound of his name have nothing to do with the soul that's inside. That's what counts and that's where Penelope is absolutely radiant.

We haven't seen Penelope with children or other cats. But, he's been okay with dogs he's met. Prior to his stay with APA!, he was declawed, so will need to remain indoors. He has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, which is controlled by daily medication. We're happy to talk through his care with you!

As Penelope enters his golden years, we hope he'll get the beautiful life he deserves - days filled with love and kindness in a cozy, forever home. Appreciated and adored for what's on the inside.
