Loving, Playful, Concerned

Just give a whistle - especially a tune - and JT will come running! Otherwise, he is there to greet you when you get home, putting his front paws on your leg for rubs and attention. He loves to be loved on and is super sweet with people. He adores good head scratches and will lay on your chest - and if you scratch the top of his head "correctly", his eyes will roll back into his head! He cuddles on his own time and won't stay in your lap forever, but could stay a while, depending on his mood.

JT is extremely cute when he plays with toys, and will impress you with his zoomies. He can reach cheetah-like speeds when chasing the laser pointer toy! He is also energized by string toys. Sometimes he basks in the sun, then runs around for a minute, and then goes back to napping. He may roam the house a bit to explore this and that, but he spends a fair amount of time lounging.

JT is a former stray cat who was adopted by a family, but they couldn't keep him, so he ended up bouncing around from place to place, which was unsettling for him. He definitely doesn't like other cats or dogs - they cause him high stress. He can be a jittery guy, so would do best as the only pet in a calm, quiet home with a few loving humans to give him attention. He probably would do well with older kids who respect his boundaries and are gentle with him - he can be startled and become anxious around sudden movements and sounds.

JT is the handsomest orange guy with the softest fur - and an adorable, big nose! He's a sweetheart who just needs his forever people and his forever home, once and for all. Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet with this loving boy!

Before his stay with APA!, JT had been declawed. As a result of this he must remain an indoor cat.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
