Curious, Independent, Sweet

One of Maida's favorite things is to snuggle in bed with you at night! She will hop right up there and settle in, regular as clockwork. She is a great communicator, too, and will tell you when she needs (wants) something! She is sweet and confident!

Maida and her sister, Bene (4457) were adopted together as 4-month-old kittens, and have been together for 12 years! So they are bonded and depend on each other. They were surrendered by the only humans they have ever known due to a move abroad. So now these two senior gals are looking for a home together forever (or for the next 12 years, whichever comes first!). Before their stay with APA!, Maida and Bene were declawed. As a result of this, they must remain indoor cats.

Maida is not crazy-playful in the least, but she still can get excited by a string toy! She'll be curious and interested in it for a while - then, she's off to nap.

The only other cat that Maida has ever liked is Bene! She chose to avoid the dogs in her previous home and would simply hide from them. She's okay with kids, and will basically ignore them.

Maida and Bene are looking for a calm and peaceful home together. Bonus points for a sunny window perch for snoozy cat naps!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
