Tag -- you're IT! Merlin hopes you know the rules of the game, if not he will settle for a feline friend around to keep the game going!

If tag doesn't suit his mood, Merlin will continue his self-imposed task of learning how to play fetch. He stealthily carries around this little plush red ball, and is starting to figure out the joys of throwing it into the air or away from himself, and retrieving it! He is a quick learner, and has made great progress that he is eager to show off!

Merlin is quite the outgoing kitty! He adores being around while action is happening-whether it's humans or other furry friends to play with. Once he has thoroughly investigated the happenings of the household, Merlin loves to cuddle up and steal his human's warmth. As he gets picked up he has mastered the art of losing all of his bones! He becomes the cutest limp noodle you'll ever meet.

Merlin can't wait to be introduced to a whole new world of people to love! Though he requests a slow introduction to any new pooches around - he hasn't quite figured out what they are all about yet.

A usual routine is the best thing for Merlin, as he is an incontinent cat. He loves the way his days are planned out for him at his foster. Bedtime all to himself, in a room with some special features; and then a day of exploring and uncovering all of the new smells and exciting things that could have occurred overnight! He spends the day in a diaper so he can roam. At night he has his own room lined with puppy pads.

Incontinent cats are frequently overlooked because potential adopters assume the worst - that the cat's urinary or fecal incontinence is out-of-control, and they will never have a clean house again. But not all incontinent cats are created equal, and there are many different levels of care; some require very little special care! And in every other way, Merlin is "normal" - fun, loving, and a great companion! His foster is excited to share how simple his routine is - even the 11-year-old child in his foster home can easily care for Merlin! - and how worth it he is to put in those extra steps of care! For more information on how to care for Merlin, please contact APA!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
