Affectionate, Empathetic, Approachable

Nala is a social butterfly. You would be hard pressed to find a cat that is more outgoing and friendly when it comes to people! She adores being close to you and being pet -- she'll even curl up in your lap and rub against you! She thrives on physical contact with her people and likes to chat away with them - and seems to sense when you need some extra love, and warmly provides it.

Nala is a young cat, so she still has a playful and curious streak. She loves batting around small toys, and she'll always run after a toy when you throw it. Nala can often be found exploring the home when she isn't right next to you for snuggles.

Nala is so friendly to each and every person she meets that she would probably make a perfect addition to any home. She needed some time to get to know the resident cats in her foster home, and then she was sweet and friendly with them. She'll immediately greet you with a friendly meow, and you'll be obsessed from the get-go. Don't wait to meet this lovely petite lady with darling eyes! She can't wait to love you.

Nala has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Nala can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

APA!’s Barn Cat Program Provides You With Your Favorite Whiskered Workers

Some cats prefer mice-hunting to bird-watching, and some prefer laying in grass to sitting on laps. Here at APA!, we believe that barn cats still deserve a chance to live happy and healthy.
