Sweet, Inquisitive, Playful

We're just gonna say it: Moon Unit is the Best Toy Mouse Catcher in the world! Athletic and frisky, that toy mouse doesn't stand a chance when Moon is on the job. He prefers his mouse toy on a wand, so you'll need to get a few of those because he will play with it until it is completely worn out! If the mouse isn't on a wand, then he will chase that stuffed toy around and around and around the house. He is sprightly and loves to play all the time!

Moon also plays with his brother - he grew up with siblings and would love a playful and friendly cat pal in his new home! He is very outgoing with other cats.

Moon is getting used to being held and petted - he will let you hold him like a baby for a little while, then he has the need for speed! And continues to play and explore. He is the quintessential "curious cat" - always on the go and interested in something.

Moon has a voice and he's not afraid to use it! He will chat with you companionably or to tell you it's dinner time. His ideal home would include people who will give his cuddly side time to develop and will indulge him in his playful shenanigans. In addition to having a cat friend, we think he would do well with kids who will play with him, pet him when he's ready for it, and respect his shy side - and then play some more with him!

Contact us today to meet this super fun, not grumpy at all, orange Garfield!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

APA!’s Barn Cat Program Provides You With Your Favorite Whiskered Workers

Some cats prefer mice-hunting to bird-watching, and some prefer laying in grass to sitting on laps. Here at APA!, we believe that barn cats still deserve a chance to live happy and healthy.
