Shy, loving, independent

All hail Princess, a kitty as cute as she is loving! Princess is a real darling, and although she appreciates her own space and alone time, she is also incredibly affectionate and will rub on you all day if she has the chance. She adores attention from her human companions and would do well in a home with kids who are curious and kind. Other cats or dogs are a different story - Princess is a shy lady and would prefer to be the only furry friend in your home.

True to her royal name, Princess is also quite content to live a life of relaxation and is not too fond of playing. If it were up to her, she would sleep all day! In fact, you may find this silly girl sleeping in some interesting places. She knows how to open cabinets and can sometimes be found hanging out under the sink to catch up on her beauty sleep. Not that she needs it - Princess is gorgeous inside and out and just needs a person to make sure she gets plenty of pets and cuddles throughout the day!

Princess has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). FeLV cats have a virus that causes a weaker immune system - they do not have cancer! For the most part, felvies are just like any other cat. You could not pick one out of the crowd, and they generally do not require much additional care. As a bonus, we waive their adoption fees! APA! provides full coverage and treatment for any FeLV-related issues that arise after the time of adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan - we like to compare it to the lifespan of adopting a senior kitty, with the added benefit that they don't have chronic senior health problems, and that FeLV-related medical care is covered. Princess is not contagious to people, dogs or other animals, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our Partner, Best Friends Animal Society: http://bit.ly/2FwYCxR

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

APA!’s Barn Cat Program Provides You With Your Favorite Whiskered Workers

Some cats prefer mice-hunting to bird-watching, and some prefer laying in grass to sitting on laps. Here at APA!, we believe that barn cats still deserve a chance to live happy and healthy.
