Affectionate, chill, vocal

Have you thought about getting a cat but weren't sure if their personality would be a fit for you? Mooshmallow may just be the kitty for you! He isn't the type to just hang out in the other room all day - Moosh is super social and loves to sit next to his human! Whether you're on the couch or doing dishes, chances are if you look over you'll see a gorgeous pair of eyes staring back at you and asking for some pets. This guy would be happy as can be in a home that's ready to match his affection level and give him all the head scratches his heart desires!

Moosh may be loving and vocal, but he's also a perfect mix of chill and laid back. He's not too active and will gladly relax the day away in a comfy spot in the house. When he's ready for food or wants your attention, he will definitely let you know with an adorable set of meows!

Moosh had a rough start as he was a street cat before coming to APA!, but he's always been friendly toward people and would love to find a person he can spend the rest of his life with. He is fearful around other dogs, so he'd appreciate being the only four legged friend in your life. Give him a chance and you will not be disappointed!

Mooshmallow has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus. FeLV causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span; but for the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives their adoption fees, and provides treatment and support post-adoption. Mooshmallow can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

APA!’s Barn Cat Program Provides You With Your Favorite Whiskered Workers

Some cats prefer mice-hunting to bird-watching, and some prefer laying in grass to sitting on laps. Here at APA!, we believe that barn cats still deserve a chance to live happy and healthy.
