Meet Ginger! This sweet-as-can-be tabby also has a beautiful coat with adorable markings that make it look like she's wearing white eyeliner!

Ginger is still learning to fully trust humans, but she's already made a ton of progress with her foster mama. We can't wait for her to blossom into her most confident self once she finds a forever family who will be patient with her comfort level. She's becoming more comfortable being petted but prefers not to be touched by those she hasn't warmed up to yet.

Don't be fooled by her reserved nature, though -- Ginger is extremely affectionate and super playful! She gets especially frisky at night -- it's pretty endearing how shy she can act when others are around during the day, but then at night when nobody's watching, her nocturnal, party animal side comes out! She adores her cat tree and will run up it, then jump off the top and onto other perches. Bird toys are some of her favorites, but she's entertained by whatever's around.

Ginger is a truly good-natured, well-behaved cat. She's not super social with the other cats in her foster home, but she's such a sweetheart and has never shown aggression towards anyone. She's still becoming comfortable around humans and should have a home without young children (respectful teenagers would likely be okay), where her family understands her need for space. Ginger can't wait to meet her forever family -- she's sure to bring you a lifetime supply of joy and love!

Ginger is a healthy FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) cat. FIV+ cats typically live long, healthy lives! For more information, please contact APA! or read this FAQ: http://bit.ly/2DPxI43
