Playful, Shy, Sweet

Fantastic Fantomas is a big, sweet fella you just wanna squish with loves. He's a little shy, but there's nothing quite like getting this guy's motor rumbling when he occasionally settles in next to you to get some pets. His purr is just so loud! And cute!

Fantomas is typically a master of lounging around, but just when he thinks nobody's paying attention, he really lets loose on fun cat toys. Fantomas also likes to entertain himself in the litterbox. We think he must be practicing for a sandcastle competition because he sure does a lot of digging - a high-walled litter box allows him to perfect his hobby and also minimizes messes. Fantomas does pretty well on his own! He could live peacefully alongside another low key FeLV+ cat, but he'd also do very well in a relaxed home as a solo kitty.

Fantomas has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Fantomas can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

APA!’s Barn Cat Program Provides You With Your Favorite Whiskered Workers

Some cats prefer mice-hunting to bird-watching, and some prefer laying in grass to sitting on laps. Here at APA!, we believe that barn cats still deserve a chance to live happy and healthy.
