Loyal, Affectionate, Lover

Hale loves to be loved and he loves to love! Give Hale some love and he'll give back double. His purr motor is in fine working order and revs up at the slightest bit of attention. Yes, he's something of an attention hog, but he's good-natured about it. Rub his belly and he's a happy camper.

When he's not at the center of attention, Hale likes to hang out in a sunny window, luxuriating in the sun and maybe catching a snooze. He also loves to eat!

Hale is very loyal and affectionate. He gets along with other cats, but his status with dogs and children is as yet unknown. Since he is such a loving guy, he may do well in a variety of homes. He's not the sort of cat that is stand-offish and would probably thrive in a home where he gets plenty of belly rubs and ear scratches. Hale is looking for a home that will appreciate his love and devotion.

If you would like to meet Hale, give APA! a call and find out more about this lover.

Hale has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Hale can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

APA!’s Barn Cat Program Provides You With Your Favorite Whiskered Workers

Some cats prefer mice-hunting to bird-watching, and some prefer laying in grass to sitting on laps. Here at APA!, we believe that barn cats still deserve a chance to live happy and healthy.
