Handsome, Quiet, Cautious

Chaz is a devastatingly handsome older gentleman with a classic brown and black tabby coat. Unfortunately, he's had a bit of bad luck recently and came to APA! with a broken foot. As you might imagine, it's been hard on him.

Chaz is pretty calm as is - he doesn't need much attention or playtime and he's very quiet. He'll enjoy a head scratch from time to time, but is alright hanging out by himself. Chaz needs to go to a home with experienced feline lovers. He is still taking pain medication for his broken foot, and just isn't feeling 100% yet. In the short week that Chaz has been in foster, he has already started to open up, so we expect he will do the same in a permanent living arrangement.

We wouldn't recommend that he go to a home with kids or with dogs or maybe even with other cats - he would benefit from an extremely quiet, chill household where he could feel safe and continue to come out of his shell. There's never been a better time to take in a more challenging cat - if you've been considering stepping up for a pet in need, this could be your moment.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
