Cuddler, Companion, Sweet

Candy Mountain is absolutely full of sweetness! He adores being as close as possible to his people. When you're sitting on the couch, he'll climb up onto the back edge so he can squish himself right up against the back of your shoulders. All of his attempts to get close to you are tactics to reach his ultimate goal...to be held! Candy Mountain loves to be snuggled up and carried like a baby.

Candy Mountain is a pretty calm kitty, but he does like to play! His favorites are anything hanging from a string.

Because he's such a friendly kitty, Candy Mountain would probably do well in any home. He'd be especially happy if he got to live somewhere with a person who was home for most of the day though, so he could get lots of snuggles!

Candy Mountain has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Candy Mountain can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
