With a name like Chainsaw Burritoslammer, you might think this cat was a tough guy; but the only thing you have to fear from CB (for short) is being loved, loved, and loved some more! CB quickly warms up to new people after a brief period of being cautious, and then he's all about rubbing his head on you, the chair you're sitting on, the trash can in the corner, the now tipped-over trash can, and then back to you for some cheek scratches - all the while purring your ear off. His appetite for affection is immediately endearing! If it were possible for a cat to melt into a puddle of love, CB would be the one to do it.

CB can be enticed to play, and he will try to impress you with how determined he is to catch the wand toy! He is fine around the other cats in the shelter, and we think he would do well in a home with another chill cat or as your only kitty.

CB has a happy, friendly nature! Once he knows he can trust you, he will give you all the love he has and accept all the love you give him. Contact us today to meet this sweet boy.

Chainsaw Burritoslammer has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Chainsaw Burritoslammer can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

APA!’s Barn Cat Program Provides You With Your Favorite Whiskered Workers

Some cats prefer mice-hunting to bird-watching, and some prefer laying in grass to sitting on laps. Here at APA!, we believe that barn cats still deserve a chance to live happy and healthy.
