Smart. Affectionate. Cuddle bug.

This handsome fella's name is Pancake Jack. He's an unusual buff color -- almost peach. Pancake Jack is blind, but he doesn't let that stop him from doing normal cat things. He's great at finding his way around. He'll run and play with toys that provide sound and he will always, always find you wherever you are.

Boy does Pancake Jack love humans. He'll greet you with the cutest high pitched meow when he knows you're in the room. He'll rub against your legs and reach out to find you. If he can't, he'll sweetly mew to ask "are you still here?" Lap time is the best time for Pancake Jack. Sit still and put out your hand and he will make you his new couch. Be ready for all the head scratches you're going to give, because this guy loves affection and he loves giving it back to you!

The ideal home for Pancake Jack would be one where he is the only cat and with someone who will help him navigate his new surroundings. Looking for a special friend to love you as much as you'll love him? Come meet Pancake Jack.

Pancake Jack has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Pancake Jack can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

APA!’s Barn Cat Program Provides You With Your Favorite Whiskered Workers

Some cats prefer mice-hunting to bird-watching, and some prefer laying in grass to sitting on laps. Here at APA!, we believe that barn cats still deserve a chance to live happy and healthy.
