Friendly, Loving, Treat-Obsessed

Lanie is the perfect lady for anyone looking for an easygoing and super friendly kitty! Her playful days are behind her, and now all Lanie wants is tons of love, treats, and comfy spots to nap in.

The majority of Lanie's days are spent sleeping, but if she can take her naps right next to you, even better! Lanie is not one bit shy and loves being petted and laying next to her people. The day her foster brought her home, she appeared instantly comfortable and happy in her new environment - no scaredy-cat here!

Lanie currently lives with a two-year-old golden retriever who she tolerates well. She doesn't mind when the dog sniffs her but will hiss when the dog gets just a little too close for comfort. Lanie's interactions with kids are great, but how she is with other cats is unknown.

It doesn't take much to make Lanie happy, and she deserves all the love in the world in her golden years! If you're looking for a sweet kitty who wants nothing more than to be petted and loved by you (and maybe get some treats, too), Lanie is the perfect girl!

Lanie has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Lanie can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
