Firecracker is a beautiful torbie with big ears that stick straight up and a hilarious pair of bottom incisors that give her a slight underbite. She's been busy nursing six adorable kittens, but is now ready to find her forever home.

Firecracker has been an excellent house guest in her foster home. She's a perfect blend of sociable and independent. Overall, Firecracker has a pretty chill energy - she doesn't care to run or jump around too much, but she does enjoy climbing up to a nice perch where she can keep an eye on things. She likes scratching posts and mats (horizontal and vertical) and prefers huggable catnip toys.

Firecracker enjoys being brushed, getting belly and ear scratches, and sitting in a warm lap. She is less enthusiastic about being held. Sometimes, she likes to hang out by herself for a while and get some alone time. Firecracker is a real chatty Kathy - she meows constantly: when she's hungry, to greet you, when she wants attention. But it's not a loud meow, it's a gentle meow. She also purrs...a lot. Her motor runs while she eats, sleeps, and receives pets.

Firecracker has had positive interactions with the resident cats and dogs in her foster home. There was a little bit of an adjustment period with the cats, but she seems to enjoy being in the same room as them, though she doesn't snuggle or play with them. She just wants to chill. The high-energy dogs never fazed her once - she can coexist quite peacefully with them.

The ideal home for Firecracker would be like her - well-balanced, calm, and loving. For more Firecracker, check her out on Instagram: Instagram.com/atx_foster_pawrents
