Fearless, Adventurous, Playful

Meet Tyler, APA!'s most courageous explorer! Tyler's passions in life include chasing after feather toys, hopping into unfamiliar cardboard boxes, and searching through every nook and cranny in his home. His adventurous spirit is complimented perfectly by his exuberance and incredible agility.

Though he's spirited when he's playing, he's very gentle in the way he expresses his love. He'll perch on your lap as you stroke his soft, teddy bear-like fur and snuggle up to you at bedtime. If he hasn't seen you for a while, he'll greet you with a soft meow.

Tyler is looking for a home with room to explore, a nice spot to nap, and a window to watch squirrels from. He's warmed up quickly to all the people he has met and would have no problem living with more energetic housemates like children or dogs. Given his lively nature, we think Tyler would also appreciate a feline friend to play with and a human companion who's willing to take him on some outdoor adventures as well (he has a love of outdoors and might try to escape when you're not looking, so be on your toes!) - we think he would be a good candidate to learn to walk outside on a leash. And he would definitely love an enclosed patio or catio where he could safely be "outside."

If you're interested in providing Tyler with a loving home, come meet him soon!

Tyler has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Tyler can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
