Adorable, Tentative, Calm

Lacy is a beautiful lady with amazing eyes and distinct stripes. She is a Polydactyl cat, also knows as a Hemmingway cat, which means she has extra toes!!

Lacy loves to do yoga with her human in the morning. She is particularly affectionate in the mornings, but she has started hanging out on the couch with her people throughout the day and wants to cuddle.

Lacy likes to play! She will chase a toy on a string, play soccer with little balls, and chase her tail in circles...

Lacy was very anxious and scared when she first arrived and has her proclivities and boundaries. For example, she doesn't like to have her head petted at first. She likes to be approached from behind and have her back petted. Sometimes she gets overstimulated and will give a swat to say she is done. Once you get to know her and understand her boundaries better, things will be very smooth. She just needs a little time to get to know you. She is still scared of strangers and will hide out until they are gone which is a very common cat behavior.

Lacy is not a big fan of other animals so her PURRfect home would be one where she can be queen and not have to share her humans. She might also be cautious around small children.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
