Regal. Calm. Snuggler.

Grizabella is a sweet, calm lady who is easy to be with and easy to make happy. Do you have a lap she can sit in? Do you love giving pets and listening to the slow rumble of a content purr? Would you love to listen as she tells you about her day in sweet little chirps? If you answered yes, then this senior lady is the perfect friend for you.

Grizabella's previous owner went into a nursing home and she was left with people who rarely interacted with her. It took her some time to trust humans again, but she has re-blossomed into a loving and affectionate senior kitty!

This sweet lady would prefer to spend her senior years sitting in a window or snuggling with a person as gentle as she is. She'd be great with older children who will treat her tenderly. She'd also prefer to be the only kitty in the house.

Griz would be best with someone who wants a sweet, calm, easy-to-care for little old lady. She deserves to be spoiled in her golden years! If you'd like a special friend to love and give you a lot of love in return, Griz would love to meet you.

Grizabella has Chronic Renal Disease, which means her kidneys are not functioning as well as they once were. This condition is so common in older cats that APA! offers a special adoption package for them. Read more about renal failure and adoption details here: https://bit.ly/2YudG90. Grizabella is in early renal failure, and is currently doing well. She eats a mostly wet food diet and drinks lots of water out of her fountain, which her foster mom is happy to send with her. She is not currently on any medications.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
