At dawn... we ask about adopting Dawn! Or at any time of the day really, Dawn is always happy to meet people! She loves humans of all ages and will accept any kind of attention you will give her!

When Dawn first came to foster, she was a little hesitant and took a couple of days to warm up, but after that turned into such a loving cat. She loves to reach her paws out to touch you and nuzzle your face. Since Dawn loves attention so much, she can be a bit chatty at times, but that's only because she wants to talk to you all the time!

Dawn is a very easygoing, low maintenance cat, who very much appreciates pets and attention, but also doesn't mind doing her own thing and napping most of the day. She does enjoy playing a little, especially if you drag the ribbon wand toy around the house for her to chase! Plastic milk bottle rings are her other favorite play things!

Dawn's foster people have found that she appreciates a quieter home, so a home with loud noises or energetic dogs might be too overwhelming for her. The resident cat doesn't care for Dawn much, but she might be fine with other easygoing cats. The 13-year-old in her foster home is Dawn's favorite human, so she's totally great with kids! The perfect home for her is one with loving people around often and some comfy spaces to relax.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
