Handsome, Loverboy, Resilient
This fine gentleman requests his presence at your next family dinner. Holiday is quite the polite houseguest, and mostly just wants to hang out and be with his humans. Though he is a glutton for some delicious wet 'junk' food, and wouldn't say no to a helping or two!
Full body massages and pets are what Holiday is all about - cheek scratches and belly rubs are definitely at the top of his list. He is full of love to give, and though he may not be able to jump into his human's laps, or follow them around as quickly as he'd prefer, he is always ready and willing to lean in for a head bump and some sweet cuddles. Due to causes unknown before he arrived at APA! Holiday is partially paralyzed and does not have full control over his hind legs. He has purrfected the art of scooting, and is not slowed down by it much physically, and not at all in spirit!
Sitting around all day being adorable and loving can be exhausting (Holiday would know), so he could never say no to a little extra pampering. He has earned it with that purr motor he keeps running all day! His daily bladder expressions easily turn into love and spa day routines. It is hard to resist his sweet face and deny him the extra pets! Holiday does require a bladder check three times a day, though he will only need help going to the bathroom if it is a certain size. APA! will help any adopter learn all about this and more about incontinent felines!
Check out Holiday's videos to get an idea of what a fabulous kitty he is. Also, take a look at how we express his bladder. Here, we use a towel, but cats can be expressed a number of ways including over the toilet, sink, or simply using a pee pad.
This sweet boy gives every new person he meets a fair and loving chance, he just hopes for the same from them! Contact APA! today to learn more about Holiday and find out if you two are the right fit for each other! He is eagerly awaiting his move to his forever home!
Holiday is incontinent and requires some extra medical care, which may include a regulated diet and/or manual expression. Incontinent cats are frequently overlooked because potential adopters assume the worst - that the cat's urinary incontinence is out-of-control, and they will never have a clean house again. But not all incontinent cats are created equal, and there are many different levels of care; some require very little special care! And in every other way, Holiday is 'normal' - fun, loving, and a great companion! Contact APA! for information on how to care for Holiday - he's easy-peasy!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
