Spirited, Resilient, Playful

If you like prime numbers, then Friedan is the cat for you! This tripawd little lady has survived the removal of one of her hind legs and is looking for someone that loves her for her uniqueness.

Friedan has a lot of kitten energy and likely wouldn't do well being left alone all day! She is very social once she warms up to you, and would thrive best in a quieter home with someone who is home most of the day or who has a (not too overbearing) kitty playmate to keep her company. She's a bit zany, so she is happy to have a foster sister to be her playmate to help burn off some of her energy! It might take a bit for her to warm up to a new kitty friend, but she'll enjoy being the Head Cat in Charge (aka The Boss)!

Friedan's not comfortable around dogs or young kids. She might be okay with a very chill, slow moving, dog who would basically ignore her, and/or older kids who can respect her boundaries.

Friedan is all about less talk, more action. She rarely has anything to say, but playing with toys is one of her favorite things to do; she'll even gently bat at your ankle to remind you that playtime is just as important as anything else you might be doing! Sitting next to you on the couch while maintaining her boundaries and still receive skritches and kisses is just her speed.

Three-legged cats learn to get around just fine, especially when the amputation is done while they're young. So no worries about Friedan! Once they heal, tripods use the litter box normally, climb up on things, and run like the wind! If you're willing to be patient, this little lady is willing to teach you how great a prime cat like her can be.
