Smart. Relaxed. Opinionated.

Coco really likes to take the time to study and get comfortable with her surroundings. It might take her a few days to warm up to a new environment, but once she does she is an incredibly warm and fun lady to have around.

After Coco has adjusted to new people and new surroundings she is incredibly loving while still maintaining a sense of independence. Happy to be sleeping on a bed or couch by herself or cuddled up in your lap for those long zoom calls she loves it all. Coco also has no issues with being picked up and held like a baby. Do you really want to win her over? She absolutely loves to be pet on her face. When she is getting face scratches she does lovingly nip at your fingers as if to say she loves you too. Everyone knows of love nips, right? She is incredibly gentle while she does this but may not be the best habit with younger children.

Coco doesn't necessarily play too much, but having a feather wand toy around wouldn't be a bad idea for when she does feel like getting some of that energy out. She does love to play hide and seek and is a real champ at it. So, if she talks you into a game you'll want to check all the secret hiding spots in your home. Cabinets and any open spot under something are her favorite places to hide. You'll be surprised at where she can get into!

Coco's ideal home would be one that has time to give her the attention she needs and deserves. She would do well in a home with kids 8 years or older and we think she would do really well in a home with another kitty. We always suggest doing slow introductions to other family members, fur and human, to make sure everyone is comfortable. We don't know how Coco does with dogs. Coco does also need a home that can help her redirect some of her energy, and would probably need a scratching post to save your furniture!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
