Handsome! Whitty! Entertaining!

Hi-yay! It's Johnny Karate! Johnny-boy lives up to his name with his playful zesty spirit. He's well-known for making whatever is around him in to a toy, even his tail. That's right, this silly dude will get caught in a whirlwind of his own fur trying to catch his tail. Johnny Karate will also happily dart across the room pursuing a fake mouse or string toy.

Once Johnny K burns off all his kitty energy, he'll flop over on your feet and present his fur-covered tummy. This cutie doesn't care much to be picked up but he loves getting belly rubs! Just like a Buddha statue, we think it will give you good luck for life if you rub Johnny's tiny tummy. He's a natural Pillsbury Dough-cat with a poke worthy center.

After all those belly rubs and tail chasing, he'll find you on the couch and plop down next to you. Our tip is let Mr. Karate come to you for cuddles! All he needs is a few days of sweet talking and encouragement to let him know you are his new best friend. His foster parent has mentioned now Johnny will even answer to his name being called.

Johnny Karate would adore a home that can show him lots of attention and give him a few days to get confident in his new surroundings. With some gentle encouragement, Johnny Karate warmed right up to his foster family. He enjoys being nearby his humans and has a strong desire for exploring and playtime. In his previous experience with other cats, he buddied up to another kitty at a former location. He has yet to meet and pups, but we think with the right introduction he could get along with a cat-friendly doggy in time. Seeing as he's always itching for fun stuff to do, a home with children would be a great match for his spunky personality.

He's mastered the high kick, he's fine tuned his air punches, and he has excellent form. Johnny Karata is one kickbutt kitty ready to teach you all his moves!

Johnny Karate has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Johnny Karate can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.
