Animated, Curious, Quirky

Broccoli Sprout is a fun-loving guy with a handful of quirks. He's normally pretty quiet, but when he's in a chatty mood, he'll converse with you using these cute little chirps. Keep an eye on him during his quiet moments, though, because you may just find him rolling around on his back while making air biscuits!

Broccoli loves toys that make noise. He's particularly fond of crinkle toys and jingly balls, but he also appreciates stuffed mice. After tiring himself out with his toys, Broccoli likes to nap in empty boxes so keep a few around the house for him!

If you feel something soft rubbing against your legs and feet, don't be alarmed - that's just Broccoli showing his love for you! He's not much of a lap cat but he does enjoy simply being near you.

Broccoli is ready to settle into a peaceful, low stress home! The purr-fect home for Broccoli would come with lots of toys, a few boxes to sleep in, and a playmate. He gets along well with his poodle foster brother - Broccoli will give him air kisses and gentle bops on the head! Broccoli hasn't lived with any cats yet, but we think he would enjoy living with a kitty around his age.

Broccoli Sprout has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Broccoli Sprout can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
