Affectionate, Calm, Dozy

If you love wise, old souls, Doc Watson is the cat for you! This sweet senior citizen has started to display some of the signs of the golden years - he is blind, mostly deaf, and has lost some teeth - but these aging signs don't keep him from living the best life he possibly can! It might take him a little bit of time to warm up to you but, but when he does you will be rewarded with the cutest signs of affection. All he wants is kind and patient companion with whom he can share his best years with!

Doc Watson is more of the chill and relaxed type of guy. He has little interest in toys but does love basking in the glory of the sun. He gets so warm and comfy it's no surprise small sunspots on the carpet are his favorite napping spaces. Though he would prefer to bask the day away, if you seek him out for some loving he will award you with plenty of head boops and the loudest of purrs!

Sweet Doc Watson can get around just fine on his own but would greatly appreciate a one-story house so that he can wander around safely and freely. Show him where the litter box is and he will remember - and maybe a couple of litter boxes would be best so he doesn't have to go far! He mostly ignores the resident cat and dog in his foster home. He truly is the kindest and gentlest of souls and would really love someone with a kind and patient nature who can really appreciate how special and sweet he is!

If you would like to arrange a meet and greet to meet this wonderful old soul contact us today!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
