Chatty, Entertaining, Energetic

Say hello to Gumball Head! This curious kitty is looking for a loving home to settle into. He can be skittish and fearful when meeting new people or animals, but he warms up fast with some treats! Gumball can still startle easily so he appreciates a warning before you pick him up. Once he's comfortable, though, he'll show you what a lovebug he really is!

Gumball's favorite pastime is playing with his foster siblings. He is best buds with the other cat he lives with and he could wrestle all day long with his maltipoo brother. Gumball does hiss and growl a bit while playing, but it isn't aggressive; he's just a vocal player. When he's not roughhousing with his siblings, Gumball is practicing his acrobatics. Hang a dangly toy on the back of a chair or on a doorknob and sit back as he entertains you with his impressive jumps!

When other animals are around, all Gumball wants to do is play. However, when he's alone with his humans he adores cuddles! He will happily snuggle up to your side, purring in content as you pet him. Gumball can get very vocal and upset when he's left alone for too long; he much prefers being in your presence.

Gumball's ideal home would come with lots of treats and a playmate or two. He gets along well with other cats and small dogs but can get nervous around medium or large dogs. Gumball may be uncomfortable around them at first, but he should warm up with some patience and some treats!

If you're looking for a fun, energetic companion, come meet this cutie soon!

Gumball Head has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Gumball Head can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
