Even though Lickety Split is too cute for words (look at that face!), we are going to do our best to convey his cuteness! He will purr THE SECOND he sees you and is overjoyed to accept all of your love, affection, and snuggles.

And just watch his eyes get big when you wave a wand toy around! He will swat at, do battle with, and capture it. And then he's ready for another round. To see extreme-cuteness-in-action, check out his videos - they're worth a thousand words!

Lickety does all his loving and playing with paralyzed back legs - they don't affect the unrestrained joy this boy shows! Lickety didn't start out life paralyzed, but he was rescued with what turned out to be a bullet lodged in his spine. He is learning to get along with two functioning legs, so he scoots to play, he scoots for love, he scoots to get around!

His paralysis has resulted in urinary incontinence - which means his human will learn how to "express" Lickety (press on his bladder a few times a day) to help him pee. APA! will teach you how to press on Lickety's bladder - it's very simple, and Lickety is sweet about it, as he is with EVERYTHING in his life.

Lickety may be a special needs kitten, but he wants what every kitten wants: a home with lots of cuddles, a plethora of toys, and people who will love and care for him! In addition, Lickety loves interactions with dogs and cats, and we believe he would do well in a home that has other animal friends that he could spend time with. Please contact us today to meet Lickety for yourself - he will scoot his way into your heart, lickety-split!

Lickety Split is incontinent and requires extra medical care, which includes a regulated diet and manual expression. An incontinent cat can be overlooked because a potential adopter imagines that the cat's incontinence is out-of-control, they will never have a clean house again, or time to do anything else! But there are many levels of care, and APA! will provide instruction and guidance. Yes, it's a commitment, but it can be simpler than you imagine! And 100% rewarding. For more information, please contact APA!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
