Sweet, Curious, Calm

Meet Jojo! This grey and white cutie pie has the most adorable face and beautifully large, curious eyes -- she's incredibly photogenic and is the absolute sweetest gal, too!

Jojo loves playing with her wand toy, chasing after balls, and running around the apartment at odd hours -- but she can also be very chill and thoroughly enjoys her relaxation time. She prefers to be in the same room as you most of the time and will hang out on a blanket or pillow nearby, content to simply be in your presence. She absolutely loves back and head scratches.

Jojo is quite fearful of new people so will need an adjustment period to get settled into her forever home, but she warmed up to her current foster after a few weeks. She'll hide from unfamiliar visitors and is still scared of sudden movements or loud noises at times, though -- she just needs someone who is patient, understanding of her initial fears, and willing to give her plenty of TLC to help her blossom into the fullest, most confident version of herself. She's calm, curious, and has a wonderful, multidimensional personality once she learns to trust and feel comfortable around you.

Jojo has some slight scratching issues if she gets a bit too frisky during playtime, but her foster has been helping her unlearn this habit and believes that she will quickly improve with a bit of patience. She's completely well intentioned and otherwise extremely polite and well behaved. She mostly talks when she wants attention or food (she'll put on her imploring Puss in Boots eyes to try and coax a snack out of you!).

Jojo would do well in a home that has enough stimulation for her but that also has a quiet atmosphere and plenty of cozy lounging spots. She needs a patient owner who is willing to put in the time and energy to help her feel safe and comfortable in her new environment. She is very chill and would be a great companion for someone who has lots of WFH meetings -- she'll lounge next to you quietly and respectfully, as long as you give her plenty of head scratches. Jojo is a truly wonderful companion and cannot wait to brighten the lives of her soon to be forever family.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
