Affectionate, Friendly, Biscuit Maker

Gris Gris came to APA all the way from New Orleans, so you can think of her as your very own voodoo good luck charm! Once you've bonded over a shared love of seafood and jazz music, you can show this sweet girl how everything's bigger in Texas starting with the huge amount of love you have for her!

If you like purry, affectionate cats, look no further. Gris Gris loves affection of all kinds. She's not much of a lap-cat, but loves cuddling up next to you while she purrs non stop. Cheek rubs, ear scratches, and lots of petting will win you lots of love from Gris Gris. Once she's getting plenty of petting, Gris Gris becomes an enthusiast biscuit maker!

Having toys or other cats to play with isn't important to Gris Gris. She will watch you move the toys around but never really actively engages. Gris Gris would much rather be getting pets and head scritches from you!

Gris Gris is mostly indifferent around other cats. She has hissed at another cat before but never initiated anything, so she would probably be fine living with or without other cats either way. All Gris Gris is looking for in a forever home is people who will let her snuggle up next to them and give her lots of loving!

Gris Gris has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Gris Gris can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about Gris Gris' care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
