Quiet shy sweetheart

We don't know what happened in Paloma's life to make her so shy and so easily spooked. Sudden noises and movements will send her running for cover, and she is quite cautious about everything and everyone.

The great news is that, once she starts to settle in and feel safer, her true loving nature emerges! She loves the calm, adoring attention of people she trusts. She doesn't like to be picked up, but she'll come and snuggle with you on her terms. Her motto is definitely 'Don't call me, I'll call you.' When she does 'call' you, it makes those moments so much sweeter!

One of her favorite pastimes is watching You Tube videos of birds and mice. She'll watch TV with you too, especially if there are animals or other moving creatures on the screen.

We think Paloma would really blossom in a quiet, calm home with a patient adult or two. She would probably be terrified of children and other pets, so we don't recommend those.

Would you love to give sweet Paloma the gift of feeling truly safe and loved? If so, contact us today to arrange a meet-and-greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
