Knuckles is oh so sweet! She loves human attention once she lets her guard down. She's the most adorable little fluff ball with gorgeous stripes.

When Knuckles isn't busy being a charmer, you can likely find her playing. She loves to untie your shoelaces, throw around her fake mouse toy or climb on anything she can get a grasp on. Knuckles will play all night long if she has the space and toys to occupy her.

She even does well with her foster's small dog and loves to roughhouse with him! She purrs when they play together and will sneak up on him and give him a swat on his hiney! It's all in good fun.

Knuckles can be a bit skittish at sudden sounds. She sometimes runs away from footsteps as if she is the most scared thing in the world, but as soon as you slow down and approach her cautiously, she comes in purring, ready for head scratches and may even play with your hands and feet.

Knuckles has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Knuckles can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
